5brightest laser I have ever used
By trickie83
Man this thing is awesome. I had to get it mounted so I would quit playing with it. I did use it for a few days to make sure it was worthy of going on a rifle. It does great in sunlight and you can see the beam during the day with dark backgrounds outside. The beam is visible inside during the day that I was able to get it in a picture with my phone. I mounted this on a HK mp5 .22lr and it has held zero very well. I have not tried it on anything with some recoil but believe it would do fine. The mount is a great quality mount and looks good. It comes with a tailcap and a pressure switch. A great thing about the tailcap is that it can be set as a momentary switch or tightened all the way down and the laser stays on. The pressure switch works great, one side is flat and the other feels like two buttons. If you mount the buttons down it feels like a normal pressure switch but i liked the feel of the buttons because my switch is mounted on a foregrip with a recessed area. It was very easy to zero. I just turned on my red dot scope and had the green dot meet the red dot. Did this outside at 50 yards no problem. My review is based on a laser that the manufacturer labels as "made in China to our specs" so I am not comparing it to the quality of a $200 laser nor have I ever owned or used a namebrand laser. I couldn't see buying any other laser after owning this one and I have actually ordered one for a shooting buddy who pulled out $60 as soon as I turned it on. It was of the same quality and brightness. This laser comes with a rechargeable battery that you can easily order a charger for. Mine cost me about $12 and charges my 18650 flashlight batteries as well. The battery is not fully charged when it arrives so don't be disappointed if the laser doesn't impress till you charge it. the battery does insert backwards from what i expected but then I noticed that the + & - are on the side of the laser so pay attention cause obviously it won't work if they are backwards. Batteries are easy to find online but make sure you buy the rechargeable ones cause they do make throw away batteries and also sell those in local stores if you prefer. Wish I could upload some pictures but I didnt have the option with this review.

2windage/elevation adjustment very flakey
By Percy Smogg
Could only move the dot about four or five inches at 25 yards -- less than one turn of the adjuster, and even then the dot just kind of wandered around in the general direction it should move -- not a straight line in that direction. So I was never able to bring the dot on target. The recoil of a .223 rifle was enough to cause movement of the dot.

I compared the brightness to two pen light style green lasers in the 5mw class commonly used for astromomical pointing in the night sky. At long distance, this was slightly brighter. Nothing dramatic, but a little bit. I suspect it might be because this has tighter focus. Pointing all three into the night sky, the beam shaft of the pen lights was more visible which, I assume, is from less focus.

The inability to adjust windage/elevation make this unusable on my intended rifle, but could possibly be used on something intended strictly for close range defense. The seller refuses warranty service or exchange without all original packing; so keep that in mind.

5Pretty darn good
By Zatoichi
Just got this in today. It seems to work great! I will update this if there are ever any problems with this laser. It was a pretty bright winters day with light reflecting off of the snow, and I was still able to see the laser on the dark screen on one of my neighbors windows, which is approx 170 yards away. Can't wait to use this at night!!
