Note for those who have trouble reading: This item is a .22-250 boresight! If you don't know much about firearms in general, it won't work for .40 caliber handguns! It wasn't designed for a .22 rimfire rifle! .22-250 is a caliber of centerfire cartridge; look it up!
There is not one helpful review for this item, because of the "noise" from a bunch of customers who either don't know about guns, or can't read. I ordered it anyway, because what I need is a .22-250 boresight, and that's what this item is. I'll repost if it does anything other than what it is supposed to do.

Followed the the instructions and rifle scope was indeed very close when I began to sight it in. When done though, couldn't remove it from rifle and had to get a cleaning rod to get it unstuck.
