This UTG Low Profile Flip-Up Front Sight works very well on my S&W AR-15's High Profile Gas Block. We use this in conjunction with NcStar AR15 Flip Up Rear Sight to give us back-up "iron-sights" if our EOTech 512.A65/1 Tactical HOLOgraphic Weapon Sight fails.
The sight is sturdy, holds zero between range sessions, and flips conveniently out of the way when not needed.

Just received and mounted this sight. Very pleased with its quality, strength, tight fit tolerance. Very Pleased. Off to the range to throw a few hundred rounds, and I will report back negatively only if it does not stand up to the rigors of heavy fire. FYI, because many do not list what type of hardware is involved, this sight was mounted on a mil-spec DPMS upper receiver with a quad rail.

This was the 3rd front sight I tried and it works just fine. I needed the metal sight because it is on the gas block rail. I also bought the UTG Flip-up Tactical Rear Sight Complete with Dual Aiming Aperture and they work perfeclty together. It was really easy to adjust using the Aimshot Laser Boresight.
