It is a good bore sight. The other review said it wouldn't turn off with a switch. It's not suppose too. All the bore sights i have owned, you have to take the batteries out to turn it off. I have yet to see one with a turn on turn off switch.

never been easyer to bore sight a gun, and saved me 20 bucks that it would have costed me to get local gun shop to do it, only thing is you need to use it in low light or cloudy day, it will go 100 yards plus with new batterys in it

Allowed me to save some ammo at the range by getting me on paper without firing a single round. However, it has some issues... you have to fiddle with it constantly to keep the laser on (it just turns off for no reason). It's better than nothing, but it could also be a lot better (especially for the price).
