When I purchased the NC Star Tactical flashlight I gave it excellent ratintgs, but this one is BETTER AND BRIGHTER, the on off switch is WAY BETTER also as it is sturdier and does not accidently come on like the NC STAR. It outshines the NC STAR and has a much more narrow focused beam that lines up exactly with your sights at about 10 yards or so. It feels much better made and the quick detach mechanism works excellently and goes on and off quite easily on glock picatinny rails, however I did have to pinch the weaver rails on the light to get it to be as tight as I wanted, that is the only thing where the NC STAR pistol light is better is that it has a SUPER TIGHT SEAL with the gun where as this particular one was a bit loose requiring me to wrap a cloth around it to keep from scratching it while I pinched the clamp on the Tactical light a tiny little bit with a pair of plyers and now it fits tight and snug and I could not be happier or recommend ANY PISTOL LIGHT MORE FOR THE MONEY THAN THIS ONE, dont even consider any of the over 100$ lights, THIS ONE IS THE BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK HANDS DOWN, IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME YOU CAN ALWAYS SEND IT BACK!!!!!

All, I was little sceptical about getting this tactical light, but the reviews and the price made me give this a try! And to my surprise & delight, this is a fantastic product. Fits on my xdm 9mm 4.5" like a glove. Very easy to remove & replace to another firearm if needed. I tested with the light on for more than 100 rounds of +p+ rounds which has the maximum recoil in that caliber, and no issues with the light. It is concise, tight fit & fits the bill perfectly. Now I will never look back to Viridian or TLR's anymore as I am not a laser fan anyway. On the side note, I tried this one my shotty (Mossberg 500) had to be upside down due to the weaver rail. Actually I do not intend to use it in the pump action shotgun anyway. But will on my Xdm. Got it under $33 delivered. Shipping was quick and packing was neat. Only drawback, no mention of the model # or manual in the box. Just the receipt. So called the vender (AR15AK47.com) and was told this was a local product and made/sold in USA. Was very glad to hear that ;L) not that I am not against anything. For some reason, I tend to lean towards our homies. But still would prefer a manual lol. This one comes with a 1 year warranty. Fit and finish is excellent. LED is incredibly powerful and focused. Do not shine the light in a mirror at yourself, your vision will be impaired for a good 10 minutes! On/Off switch is easy to turn on with right pointer finger and flick back off with left thumb (for right handed shooters). Fits like a glove on my Gen 3 Glock G23 and barely added any weight. Sure it doesn't have the neato pressure switch like the high-end lights, but the slider switch is more than adequate for the low price! Shipping was fast and cheap and I will be ordering more. Thanks Amazon.
